Promys PSA Implementation Process

Most PSA implementations fail to drive user adoption,  because they leave it to the customer to “figure it out”. Self training videos, documentation and customers making configuration changes themselves.  That just results in automating how you do things now so you can make exactly the same mistakes only faster. Most “new” functionality is under leveraged or not used at all.

The Promys implementation process leverages a Promys subject matter expert to document your existing business processes, make “best practice” suggestions and aligns your business processes with the ideal use case of the Promys functionality. Live interactive training is provided to endusers and system administrators. This approach drives user adoption and ensures that your company gets the most out of your Promys Enterprise PSA software investment.

Promys Enterprise PSA software implementation:

1. Business process review with customer subject matter experts

2. Format existing data into the Promys Excel import format:

  • Customers and contacts

Promys Enterprise PSA software system administrator training:

1. Customer-side Project Manager implementation support

  • One customer-side Project Management resource allocated for 50%-75% during the 4-6 week implementation and 1-2 weeks after go-live
  • One customer-side System Admin Resource allocated less than 15% once users are comfortable

1. Promys live interactive end-user training per operational group

3. Promys end-user beta testing / QA: Promys provides a separate “test environment” for the life of the subscription contract. After completing training, end-users then create 10 – 20 role specific transactions in the beta system to confirm Promys configuration and user competence

1. Promys & Customer Accounting Integration

Promys leverages our powerful Web API to offer standard interfaces for most accounting systems (Great Plains / Dynamics, Sage / Accpac, Quickbooks) to map invoices, P.O.’s and inventory receipts to the appropriate charter of accounts. We also support custom integration requirements.
