1) Create as many lump sum Phase or Milestone billing events as you’d like:
Create lump sum billing invoices, for example – 25% Deposit, 30% at Milestone “x”, 30% at Milestone “y”, 15% at customer Project Sign-off, and have those automatically integrate with your accounting system (example – Deposit integrated as unrecognized revenue).
2) Recognize Revenue & Cost as Equipment & Services are delivered:
Track detailed delivery of actual Equipment and Services hours in order to recognize Revenue and Cost (and relieve inventory) and automatically reconcile that against any unrecognized revenue resulting from lump sum Deposit, Phase or Milestone invoices
